At the center of this huddled crowd is a US Special Forces Medical Advisor attempting to provide much sought after medical treatment to the villagers of Dinh Quan.  These regular visits to villages would bring the entire population of the village to a focal point around the US Medical Team and the local police force (pictured on the left) would assist to provide security and crowd control to accomplish the medical treatment in an orderly fashion.  A village such as this may have upwards of 500 to 600 people, making the coordination of treatment services a challenge at times.
