Vietnam Village - Vietnam War Picture Print

The basic existence for children in rural Vietnam during the period of the conflict is evident in this photograph captured in a village in the vicinity of Tahn Linn.  A typical example of villages serviced by US Advisory Medical Teams, this village is remote and can only be accessed by air.  A village of this size would be comprised of up to 100 small dwellings made entirely of local vegetation and would have a total population of approximately 400.  While children in these villages would only have the most basic clothing and rarely any footwear, donations from medical teams would provide much needed essentials.
