I play a lot of BF2 and BF1942, but not so much of the 2142. I talk to a lot of players and it seems like there are die hard groups of players that love the older games in the series versus the newer. What's the vote here?
I think BF2 strikes a nice balance...

Yeah..I am a huge BF2 fan too....not that 1942 did not kick ass, but the enhancement with BF2 just added that extra dimension to the game. Have not really gotten into 2142 as much yet, but my vote would be with BF2! Love that game....it has cost me a few GF's LOL

BF1942 for me! I guess cuz I have a group of friends that are hardcore 42 nuts and we lan it non stop.
I dabble in some BF2, but we just love the mods for 1942 and the feel of the older game.
1942 all the way!

We should get a poll going on this site for a vote on the BattleField series of games.
Someone ping the admin and get him to throw up a poll.
BF2 for me though!
