| Sick call in a remote Vietnamese village starts with the arrival of the US Advisory Medical Team by helicopter. The team conducting this medical operation was made up of three US medical advisors and an ARVN guard who would provided security for the team while they focussed on the care of the village population. At the arrival of the team's helicopter, the villagers would assemble to receive treatment. The operation would be assisted by the village elders who would notify the population. Up to 200 individuals would be seen by the medical team on a typical visit like this. |
