| The checkpoint departing Xuan Loc and entering "No Man's Land" on the road to Bien Hoa signalled to anyone crossing this point that you leaving relative security and for the next 49 miles travel was at great risk. The area beyond this marker was a known area for heavy Viet Cong activity.This was also the site of one of the major final battles for Xuan Loc in 1975 where thousands of South Vietnamese and NVA forces met their death. |
